 Helps more than leg cramps August 6, 2010

The leg cramps tablets were purchased for that purpose however both my husband and I have shoulder issue needing surgery. In taking the tabs for his night time leg cramps he has found it relieves his shoulder pain. I started taking it for that purpose and found his is right it does relieve the shoulder pain as well. Of course it does not take the pain away completely but it does bring a great amount of relief.

I originally found this in Florida in a clearance aisle. My husband frequently has leg cramps. When he used it the first time he was amazed at how fast it worked. He said get more. Couldn't find it around home so I went online. I ordered 3 boxes. He gave one to his dad and one to his brother. Everyone is now happy. Great product that works quickly. You just put it under your tongue and let it disolve.

I bought this because I was being awakened in the middle of the night with severe leg and foot cramps that would not subside with stretching or walking. They seemed to be occurring more frequently despite trying other remedies like additional potassium and magnesium. I have not taken the pills as a preventive, but have used them when I wake up with cramps. Each time, the pain has resolved in a matter of minutes and I have been able to go back to sleep. I can't figure out how they work since the amount of each ingredient seems to be quite small, but I will use them as long as they do work

Taken 2 pills at a time, takes ~20 minutes then helps for 3 or 4 hours.

My 85 year old dad had been having almost daily problems with leg cramps late in the day as well as while sleeping as well as on days where he exerted himself (yard work, woodworking). His primary care physician suggested that he try soda water for the quinine which gave him marginal relief but with the side effect of having to wake up to use the bathroom several times each evening.
Doing a Google search found these these quick-dissolve tablets. These work unbelievably well, and within a 30 seconds or so after taking the tablet. My dad takes these when he starts to feel the onset of cramps and is astounded (and so happy) to be finally rid it. And the odd thing is that once he had his cramps under control with these tablets he hasn't needed to use them nearly as often -- he's using it maybe a couple of times a week now and sometimes not for a week at a time.
The cheaper pill form of these tablets that you take with a glass of water had no noticeable effect. Be sure to use the quick-dissolve variety (that you put under your tongue).
