5 out of 5 stars really works for me   July 30, 2010
silverlake
My neurologist recommended I use a magnesium supplement and mentioned Migrelief as one of the options. I've been taking it for almost two years now and have reduced my usage of migraine meds from 10-12 per month down to 3-4 per month. As others have mentioned, I do notice that if I run out, I'm likely to start getting the headaches/aura again, so I am religious about taking it twice a day. One other note: I thought perhaps another, more expensive product containing magnesium and butterbur would work even better due to the butterbur studies in Europe, but I switched to it for a month and my headaches ramped up again. (This makes me think the placebo effect is not entirely responsible for the results I find with Migrelief though to be honest I wouldn't care if it were -- anything to get relief). Anyway, I am back on Migrelief for good.

5 out of 5 stars this product has made a huge difference   June 23, 2010
Donna F. Mitchener (Charlotte, NC)
I have been plagued with migraines for more than 25 years. Over the last few years I had developed exertional migraines - every time I exercised I got a migraine. In desparation I read everything that I could find about migraines. After reading What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Migraines I purchased my first order of Migrelief. From the time that I started taking it I have not had another migraine. I'm not sure if my migraines are gone for good but I know that I can exercise now and not be worried that I will get an aura and a headache within an hour.

I have spoken with a pharmacist trained in integrative medicine. She believes the the use of magnesium can make a big difference in migraines. The scientific evidence is out there that substantiates that the ingredients in Migrelief statiscally reduces the number of migraines.

I say "go ahead and try it" - you might find some relief. I was desperate and have been incredibly pleased with the results.

5 out of 5 stars Huge Help for Chronic Migraines/Cluster Headaches   June 19, 2010
A. L. Berey (New Jersey)
After over 8 years of chronic headaches and cluster headaches (approx 20 days/month), taking daily preventative meds (topamax and others), and every triptan offered, and even trying herbals and acupuncture, I have finally found something that seems to really help! I am down to about 5-6 headaches/month, which is very manageable for me (I highly recommend Treximet, a combination of Imitrex and anti-inflammatory). I am still taking Topamax daily, but taking the Migrelief has dramatically decreased the frequency of the migraines and completely eliminated the mild, annoying daily headache I couldn't get rid of, which I often treated with the migraine meds, which probably caused more rebound headaches. None of the neurologists I've gone to knew about it, but I will let mine know this works!

5 out of 5 stars It works for me!   June 4, 2010
Dennis C. Bernth
After years of having debilitating 'sinus' headaches, a couple of years ago, after reading up on headaches, I finally realized that they were migraines. I would average two or three bad ones a month, along with 3 or 4 milder ones that I would catch early enough to take the edge off. Normally mine are caused by changes in the weather, most likely allergies, and some foods. The bad ones would make functioning difficult if not impossible; a dark room, an ice pack, Tylenol Migraine formula, and time were all that worked. I've been using Migrelief for about three momths now, and in the last two months or so I've probably had a total of four headaches. All four were the mild kind that the Tylenol Migraine could handle, and I could work through them with no problems. NO laying around wasting a day off because of headaches anymore, no going to work and being miserable because of a migraine anymore. This stuff works, for me anyhow, and from these reviews for a lot of people. Since this is spring, this was usually the one of the two worst times of the year (fall to winter the other, with all the changing weather) and it is sure nice to not have to worry everytime a front blows in whether or not you'll be able to function.

5 out of 5 stars migraine relief   May 27, 2010

I have had chronic migraines for many years and have been faithfully taking Migrelief for about the last five. Although it doesn't completely eliminate the headaches, they are less frequent and less severe. There have been a couple times I've run out of the Migrelief and within a week or so the headaches ramped up again, so I know it isn't just a coincidence. If you have migraines it's definitely worth trying - give it a good 30 days before deciding if it's working for you or not.
