I have used Biofreeze for years. When I have a strain on a joint or muscle, it works wonders. I was introduced to this product by a physical therapist when I experienced a plantar foot conditon.
My 77 year-old mom also uses it for her arthritic knees and she has tried numerous topical treatments, but found this product works best.

if you need temporary relief while traveling, pack a few of these in your carry on. since they are less than an ounce, you can get past airport security check point without any problem.
most pain gels are in a size larger than 3 oz. and you will lose it to the TSA.

I was referred to this product from a friend who use to work in a therapist office. The only con I have is the smell. Now it doesn't bother me but some people don't like the strong smell.
I am a veteran from the Navy and I had a few injuries from being active duty (torn/strained ligament & pelvic separation). I have applied bio freeze to my hips in the morning and throughout the day to relieve the stiffness and pain in my hips and lower back area from injuries. I have used bio freeze on my back, hips and my legs from thighs down to toes to relieve pain from my Fibromyalgia (extreme painful muscle condition reference[...])with success. I have used it on my neck (strain at the base of neck) from daily activities. It is great for applying small amounts on trigger points to ease the pain. I have used it on my hands when my fingers are sore from writing, typing or even arts and crafts. I'll get stabbing pains, shooting pains, burning pains or all of above with my fibromyalgia from any place on my body. I love that I can use this to get just about instant relief (minutes) while I wait for the medicine to kick in.
My husband has been able to clear his sinus congestion by applying the bio freeze to my back and shoulders (has a strong vicks vapor rub type smell). My baby brother also had pulled/tore a muscle in his back. The icy hot patches helped, but the bio freeze gave him the most relief he had.
I recommend this product to everyone! Put it in your first aid kits, keep some in the car, book bags, and at the office. This product is amazing!
