| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Thermophore Moist Hot Packs are the moist hot packs most prescribed by doctors. It is electric and can be used instantly and for as long as you need relief. Moist heat increases circulation and speeds recovery by bringing in fresh blood cells and taking away the wastes which hinder healing. These beneficial results continue for several hours after treatment. The moisture produced by the Thermophore Hot Pack transfers the high heat deeper into tissues than an ordinary dry heat pad.

Thermophore Heating Pad July 23, 2010 HULAN HOWELL (Victoria, Texas USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
MY HEATING PAD WORKS PERFECTLY AND WAS SOLD TO ME AT A FAIR PRICE. I APPRECIATE THAT IT WAS SENT IN A TIMELY FASHION.
Best heat pad around ever! June 19, 2010 natava 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Battle Creek puts out the best moist heat pad available. I have had five neck injuries. Currently, I have RA. I own one large moist heat pad for my back and am on my 4th neck pad since 1983. I use the neck pad for multiple areas, but primarily my neck.
Finally, one that's actually hot! March 25, 2010 K. D. Menell (San Bernardino, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It seems I had been on a constant search for a heating pad that was worth buying. Well, the search has finally ended! I could not be more pleased with this pad. Every other pad I have ever purchased never got hot enough for me. I ended up having to lay, sit, or lean against the thing to even feel anything worth mentioning. This constant need to press up against the pads probably led to their fairly quick demise. It seems that when you have to use body weight against it, it kills the pad in a relatively short period of time. My last pad lasted all of 2 months. This led to my most recent search for a pad that wasn't useless. I stumbled across this one and read every review. When I saw people complaining that it was too hot, I knew this was the pad for me!
When I opened the box and unwrapped the pad, I was shocked at the quality of the pad. It was heavy! Compared to my last pad which felt more like fleece than anything, this had a weight to it that made me feel comfortable with my purchase. It has a 20 minute timer (with automatic shut off) and boy does it get hot! The price was more than fair. I had spent close to this for the one that lasted 2 months. The cover that it comes with is very soft too. I am extremely happy with this product.
Nice heating pad so far January 8, 2010 starcooks (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I use heating pads on a daily basis for chronic pain and I have used a competing brand for a few years now, but since I am always blowing a fuse and having to replace it at least once a year I thought I would try this brand. I have had it now for almost a week and so far I am pleased with it. It is not quite as soft as the other brand, but it has a nicer timer and heat control unit.
I wanted to let others know that the heating pad has a large velcro band which you can use to fasten the heating pad around your torso. I didn't know that from the product description and I really don't like it because I use the pad around my leg. This is just personal preference but I think it should be included in the product information.
Also, recently I was out of town and decided to buy a cheaper drug-store brand heating pad. I found one that is actually quite nice, soft and gets to a high heat as nicely as these more expensive brands. It was only $30 and was sold under the chain name. Next time I need to replace one of my heating pads I am going with that brand.
Best heating pad ever! September 15, 2009 Jamie (Connecticut) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have pretty severe interstitial cystitis and this heating pad is a godsend. I have gone through about 5 heating pads in 5 months and they all were cheap and not hot enough. I could never find a heating pad hot enough. This thing is the perfect temperature for me. The most heat is wonderful and soothes my bladder pains. I like how it is heavy so I dont have to press down on it when I put it on my belly. I was weary about spending the money, but trust me.. it is so worth it!! Anything that gives me some pain releif is worth it. So happy with my purchase!!
