My Mother loves them! June 5, 2010 Poempaint (Los Angeles) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I gave first the knee and later, the ankle wraps to my mother who suffers rheumatoid arthritis and frequent bursitis in ankles and knees. She said in times of crisis she uses cold, 3 to 4 times daily and can walk again after each use. Her knees were far too swollen for the wrap to attach at first and her friends were telling her to go to the doctor and get them drained, but after a week of use the swelling reduced to the point where she could attach the wraps, i.e.each knee reduced 3 inches in diameter! I just can't tell you how happy I am about this and she is too! She said they never take the pain completely away because her illness is deep, but they make it far more manageable, and that when she starts feeling much better she stops using and then overtaxes herself and must start using them again, but is so glad she has them. She is trying to just use every night before bed as preventative care. She said it is by far the very best present she has ever received:)
Comfortable, Soothing and a Great Buy April 3, 2010 BustyMomma 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been diagnosed with Chondromalacia Patellae, which is to say that my knees ache frequently. I was desperate for an inexpensive, convenient ice pack that could help me control the inflammation. The Homedics wrap fits the bill. The wrap is easy to use, incredibly comfortable and effective. Not only does it sooth my inflammation, but it also acts as a brace, helping me keep my knee in line. I've only used it for cold therapy, and I feel that the ice pack lasts about 1.5 hours. I regret that it doesn't last longer, however, I just bought a second one of these so that I can switch the packs as needed. Truly, a great buy at a great price.
Magnet Power ? March 13, 2010 Gail A. Lawlor (Burlington, IA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this knee wrap because it seemed that a magnetic wrist wrap really helped my aching wrist feel better. My knee began aching me, so I found this magnetic knee wrap at Amazon. My knee is feeling better. I don't know for sure if the knee wrap helped or if the ache passed on it's own. At any rate, the wrap does hold in body heat, creating a moist heat under the wrap. The velcro sticks well and the item is well constructed. The knee wrap is comfortable. I have not used the ice pack.
finally, knee pain relief March 5, 2010 Janet M. Tranah 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Was having extreme pain from arthritis - while the knee brace didn't eliminate it, it did make it tolerable - still have to get around. Had purchased another one a long time ago for other knee, so felt it would be good.
The only easy to use brace that adjusts as needed. February 27, 2010 J. Dermody (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am an older woman with chronic knee problems. I find this brace allows me to adjust fit for each use even with arthritic hands.
Wearing the brace gives me confidence to go further and do more.
